Flair Interiors is a full-service interior design studio based in Kalamazoo, Michigan, creating warm, inviting spaces that blend timeless comfort with modern style.
Flair Interiors has offered custom window fashions to residential and commercial clients throughout Southwest Michigan since 1985. From the beginning, Flair Interiors has offered free, in-home consultations to all of our clients, allowing them to fully explore the potential of their home with an interior design professional.

Jessica McGuire
Interior Designer, Allied ASID - 2009
I started my design career in 2004 in Grand Rapids. I worked in the window treatment industry while attending college at Grand Rapids Community College and Grand Valley State University. I graduated with a degree in Interior Design and have since become a member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID). I enjoy incorporating color, texture and patterns into a room and working with different design styles. Helping people accomplish their design needs and turning their visions into a reality is something that I love to do!

Adam McGuire
Interior Design Assistant - 2016
I started my career with Flair Interiors in January 2016. I have always had an interest in architecture and design, so when the opportunity came to learn the design business from the ground up, I took it. Having a strong background in retail management has helped me hit the ground running. I work behind the scenes assisting the decorators and the installation & delivery departments. No two days are alike and I’m enjoying every minute of it.

I have been working with Flair since 2017. I have a background in office administration and management so working with our clients is second nature to me! I love being able to have a daily interaction with our customers and getting to help them work with our designers to make their dreams become a reality!

I am the lead installer for window fashions for Flair. With over 20 years experience there is one thing I know for certain, no two windows are alike! New products are introduced almost daily, which keeps my job interesting. I enjoy seeing what our decorators create for our clients and being part of the team that puts it all together.

I have been working with Flair since 2016 and I have been able to be a part of many special projects. From unpacking and assembling the new merchandise to hand delivering the new furniture I get to see the whole project from start to furnished!

I am a graduate of Western Michigan University and a lifelong resident of Kalamazoo. When I started my career, we only sold window treatments. It wasn’t long before our clients were asking us to help them furnish their entire home. In 1995, we added furniture and accessories to the mix. My clients were now able to work with just one source, saving them time shopping from store to store.

I have an extensive background in retail, starting at a young age working in my family’s audio-video business. I then entered the home furniture business working in management positions for a large Michigan retailer. We created Flair Interiors to provide a more personalized experience for customers shopping for home furnishings and to assure them exceptional customer service.

I have been creating custom floral arrangements with Flair Interiors for over 15 years and have over 40 years of experience. I am very passionate about floral design and love working with our design staff on creating new arrangements that are personal to each client’s space.

Originally founded in 1985 as Draperies on Wheels, Flair Interiors has grown into a full-service design studio offering custom window treatments, furniture, and interior design services in Kalamazoo, Michigan. For decades, we’ve served residential and commercial clients throughout Southwest Michigan, providing personalized design solutions rooted in quality, creativity, and care.
Our experienced team of designers and professional installers takes a holistic, all- inclusive approach to creating beautiful, functional spaces. From the very beginning, we’ve offered complimentary in-home window treatment consultations, bringing everything needed to begin transforming your space directly to you.
In 2006, we expanded our services to complement our window treatments with complete home décor and interior design consultations. It didn’t take long to hear that we had a true flair for this kind of service—hence the name change. We also learned that our clients expected, and deserved, a more individual and personal touch to interior decorating that other local firms were not offering.
We have an expansive showroom that allows you to come in and explore all of our in-stock furniture and accessories, as well a vast selection of wallpaper and fabrics. You will love discovering the unique products on our showroom floor—and even more, collaborating with our designers to create exceptional spaces together.
